Looking for a business
What is Lebanon Local?
A free directory of businesses in Lebanon. Search by name, category or area, in English, Arabic or French, and see each business on a map with its hours.
Why do I have to tap to see a phone number?
To protect business owners from people who copy numbers in bulk for spam. The number is one tap away for you, and out of reach for automated collectors.
Why is there no email address on business pages?
Email addresses are never shown, again to protect owners from spam. Use the message form on the page: we forward your message to the business, and it can reply to you directly.
How do I know if a business is open now?
Each page shows its opening hours, and search has an "Open now" filter, calculated on Beirut time. Hours are set by the owner, so for a holiday or a long power cut, calling first is wise.
Why does a page say the owner has not claimed it?
Some pages were created from public information, such as details the business published itself. Until the owner claims the page, some details may be missing or out of date, so for a special trip it is worth checking first.
I cannot find a business I know. Why?
We are still adding businesses. If you know the owner, tell them that adding a business is free and takes about three minutes.
Something on a page is wrong. What do I do?
Write to hello@lebanonlocal.com with the page link and what is wrong. If it is your business, claim the page and correct it yourself.
For business owners
How much does a page cost?
Nothing. The basic page is free, and so is claiming a page that already exists. Optional paid extras may come later; the basic page stays free.
How do I add my business?
Search first: your business may already have a page you can claim. If not, tap "Add your business", enter the name, category, area and map pin, confirm your phone with a six digit code, pick your hours, and publish. It takes about three minutes.
Who sees my phone number?
Only visitors who tap to see it on your page. It is never printed in the page itself, and we block bulk collection. You see how many people tapped, never who.
Is my email address shown?
Never. Messages sent through your page are forwarded to you.
How do I edit my page?
Sign in and open your dashboard. You can change hours, photos, description and details there at any time.
My business is already listed but I did not add it. What now?
Many pages were created from public information. Open your page and tap "Is this your business? Claim it free". You prove it is yours with a code sent to the business email or to an address at your website, or with proof a person on our team checks. If you would rather not be listed, use "Remove my business" on the page.
Will listing bring me more customers?
It makes you easier to find, in three languages and on the map. We cannot promise a number of customers or a position in results, and we will not pretend to.
